KETUPAT name was derived from the Javanese term “ngaku lepat” consists of four actions, namely lebaran (openness), luberan (abundance), leburan (forgiveness), and laburan (cleanliness) , which means “admitting one’s mistakes.” It also symbolizes forgiveness and blessings. The filling of KETUPAT is interpreted as a symbol of prosperity and happiness. The wrapper of KETUPAT is considered as a protector to drive away bad luck. People believed putting a KETUPAT in house as a talisman will bring prospertity in every area of life. The Gold Art Purity of Ketupat is produced and plated with 24k gold on its outer layer.
